After opening about ten wine bottles successfully it failed when the screw went in at an angle, requiring more force to (attempt to) get the cork out. This snapped off the top sprockets on both handles rendering the unit useless. The sprockets - the little thingees sticking out on the left and right shoulders in the picture - are not substantial enough to take any torque.
