(More customer reviews)I really liked the both the looks and the the Ratchet Lever idea. I am sure that the artist who created this piece made a prototype and tested it. And I am sure it worked.
The piece I received however did not.
I was unable to pull a cork out of the bottle more then half way. I tried it on three different bottles (thinking that perhaps the cork might be too long, or something else is at fault)
It appears that the the problem lies with the ratchet: it doesn't catch.
My heart goes out to the designer: poor workmanship on faraway shores made this truly good-looking piece worthless.
I had to return mine.
