(More customer reviews)Well, even at my advanced age, I occasionally "get taken." But maybe it's my own fault for not reading "the fine print?" SIGH. Should have looked for the "Pulltex Pulltap" logo on this corkscrew before I bought it - and then broke it in two days' time.
The "real" Pulltap is made in Spain, and has a logo on the chrome hinged portion of the screwpull. This one did not. Further, the quality of construction on the "real" Pulltap is vastly superior to this one. (Yes, I've got a real Pulltap right here to compare)
Buyer beware - I bought my "real" Pulltap online from a company with Corkscrew in the name, and have been happily pulling away for two years. Fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice, shame on me.
Please - look carefully for the real Pulltaps - you won't be as sorry as I am now, with a screwpull here on the counter - in two pieces. (rats!)
