Because of this I found myself hesitant to open any nice bottles for fear that I wouldn't be able to finish them before they went bad. This gadget has been the perfect solution for me. The stoppers have fit perfectly in all the bottles I have tried thus far and do a great job of improving wine longevity. They add a good couple (and sometimes I can push the bottle further) days of freshness to my wine and give it more longevity than the stoppers I have tried that do not use a pump. The pump is also very easy to use. It doesn't require a lot of strength and it is clear from giving the stopper a gentle tug that the seal is holding. The simplicity and speed of use is what makes this gadget invaluable because it means that I use it every time I open a bottle of wine. Having limited kitchen space I also appreciate how small this gadget is because I can slip it right into my cutlery drawer and have it on hand when I need it.
Overall this gadget is a bit pricey but if you find it takes you time to get through a bottle of wine it is well worth the money in that you will waste far less wine. Highly recommended.
