(More customer reviews)After using this style opener for several years I just broke a bottle in my hands. Yesterday, while pulling an unusually stiff cork out, the bottle neck shattered sending me to the local emergency room for stitches. This design puts a lot of stress on the bottle neck when the tangs are pressed in. Combine that with twisting and pulling and i believe there is a high risk of failure.
You may have better luck than I, but I wanted to warn others. I am typing this with one hand because of the stitches. No fun!
