(More customer reviews)I received my Vinomatic (love that name!) several months ago as a gift and thought "how nice, probably won't use it too much." Was I wrong...I use it every time I open a bottle of wine and it opens bottles beautifully. I've always used a waiter's corkscrew and found that very easy to use. But this is easier (and more fun). Also, people tend to gather 'round to watch. Two of my friends have purchased as gifts for their spouses. Compared to the bulkier (cheaper) ones, this is a pretty narrow profile on the counter so I have it out all the time. I've opened natural and synthetic corks and it has never failed to open a bottle perfectly. Now ordering another one as a gift.
